New World of Warcraft players are immortal due to a bug that Blizzard is already trying to solve

Oct. 4 (Portaltic/EP) –

New World of Warcraft (WoW) players are immortal due to a bug that has appeared after converting Dragonflight into the new leveling zone and wanting to offer newbies a small advantage to adapt to the game.

At the end of August, Blizzard launched The War Within expansion, the first chapter of the world-soul saga, which takes players through underground worlds full of dangers, to the depths of the Nerubian empire, where the Harbinger of the Void is found. and his spider forces ready to attack Azeroth.

This expansion also came with a change to the game, as Dragonflight has become the stage for new players to immerse themselves in the WoW universe and level up before facing more important challenges.

However, this change has introduced a peculiarity that benefits many players: they cannot die. This is a bug, as Game Director Ion Hazzikostas has confirmed to Windows Central.

“In The War Within, we added a set of zone upgrades themed around the different dragon flights, which only apply if you are a new player on your first playthrough (i.e. you haven’t unlocked Chromie Time, never had a character of max level, etc.). One of these upgrades is a ‘cheat kill’ that should save you from a death every once in a while. Unfortunately, there’s a bug with that upgrade and the cooldown isn’t working,” Hazzikostas detailed.

The manager has also confirmed that Blizzard is already solving this error and that it should be resolved in the coming days.
