If the iPad has been missing something for a while, it is a redesign, and that is that, although the iPad mini and iPad Pro have received their respective redesigns with the elimination of the Home button and much thinner frames, Apple has not given all the love that the best-selling iPad could deservealthough it is true that as part of these sales is the lowest price of the company’s tablets.
However, Apple has eventually found a way to continue to profit from the new design that accompanies more expensive iPads, so for the next generation of Apple’s base tablet, we may find ourselves with a total redesign, as it has been seen in a new accessory.
It is believed that the loss of the Home button will not mean the disappearance of Touch ID, but will be transferred to the power button, while an Apple A14 processor will arrive to update the current A13, although it is still behind the current Apple A15. Something important will also be the arrival of the USB-C port, something that will eliminate the need to use proprietary cables.
Be that as it may, we still have to wait for an upcoming Apple event to confirm all the specifications of the next generation of the iPad.
