Motorola ups the ante with the Moto Edge 50 Ultra, equipped with Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, x3 zoom and finished in wood

Quite a long time ago, back in 2014, Motorola dazzled with the launch of the round second-generation Moto real wood on the back of the device to give it a more luxurious touch. She has had a lot of rain since then. To begin with, Motorola is no longer in the hands of Google, but of Lenovo, which 10 years later has wanted to recover the essence of that remembered Moto X with the Moto Edge 50 Ultra, part of the new Edge 50 Motor family.

With a very refined appearance and high performance, the Moto Edge 50 Ultra is a high-end mobile phone that is distinguished by the careful aesthetics of a back finished in real wood or an artificial material with a texture similar to that of leather. At the front we find a brilliant 6.7-inch P-OLED screen with touch refresh rate up to 360 Hz (image update runs at 144 Hz), and in the middle a powerful chipset Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 with 12 or 16 GB of RAM.

In addition to providing high performance for gaming and conventional applications, the Moto Edge 50 Ultra stands out for its camera. It is equipped with a large 50 MP and 1/1.3-inch sensor to capture the greatest amount of light possible in all types of circumstances and has such interesting features as omnidirectional focusing and optical stabilization. Next to it we find an ultra-panoramic sensor with macro function and, more prominently, an interesting telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom thanks to telescopic optics.

The whole is rounded off with a special sensor that adjusts exposure, white balance and detects possible flickering from artificial lighting, as well as camera software that uses artificial intelligence to improve shadows, apply the corresponding bokeh and adjust the exhibithion time.

Soon on sale in Spain, the Moto Edge 50 Ultra will have a base price of 1,000 euros; a fairly high rate, but also in line with the type of client you are pursuing.
