Microsoft works on a new dark mode for its Edge browser

Microsoft is working on a new dark mode for its Edge browser with a multitude of elements that bet on the color black.

edge is experiencing a second youth thanks to the inclusion of ChatGPT, but Microsoft is also working on other issues such as a new dark mode.

He dark mode is something that has been included more or less recently in all browsers, and yet Microsoft it already included it in its Edge browser throughout 2019.

But currently, Redmond seems to be working on a darker dark theme, as discovered by engineer @Leopeva64.

It would be a dark theme darker than the current one, and which is now being seen on the Canary channel: “in Canary Microsoft is testing an all-black background for the tab bar, toolbar, bookmarks bar, vertical tabs, and sidebar”.

It remains to be seen if Microsoft will offer this new dark mode alongside the previous one for the user to choose the one they want the most, or directly replace the current dark mode with the new one.

If you still did not know how to activate it, to put the current dark mode in your Edge browser, you simply have to go to “settings”, then select “settings”, then go to “appearance”, and finally select “customize browser”, where we will have to select “general appearance”, “theme” and select “dark mode” from the drop-down list.

Without a doubt, offering the user a new dark mode can be positive for those who may find the current dark mode somewhat light, and that would make it easier to work at night using the Edge browser.
