Microsoft has announced the new Team Copilotan assistant who will facilitate collaboration and project management for organizations and companies “acting as another member of the team” within your communication platform.
As part of its annual developer event Build 2024, the company has unveiled new products designed to help people be “more productive and creative”, in this case, extending the capabilities of its Copilot assistant to “drive results commercial” for organizations and companies.
Thus, Microsoft has announced that expands Copilot’s capabilities so that “beyond a personal assistant” it can work for a team of users, improving collaboration and project management on its Teams platform. All of this, as if it were just another member.
Specifically, it is the new Team Copilot assistant which includes AI capabilities in Teams to facilitatear meetings, group collaboration and project managementas the technology company has detailed in a statement on their website.
Among its capabilities, Team Copilot will improve discussions in meetings in order to make them more productive, and to do so it will be able to manage the agenda according to the topics discussed and take notes which team members may later request in summary form.
The wizard will also help get more out of chatsshowing the most important information of what has been shared in messages and tracking stock items. Likewise, you can also Address unresolved team issues and moderate the groups.
Team Copilot will also be able to act as a project manager. This is because you can create and assign tasks to team membersas well as carrying out a tracking deadlines of projects and even notify team members when work input is needed.
However, Microsoft has pointed out that Users will always have control of assigning tasks or responsibilities to Copilotto manage their capabilities by adapting to the needs to be more productive, collaborative and creative together.
With all this, the American technology company has indicated that Team Copilot will be available in preview version “later” this yearand will be launched for customers with Microsoft Copilot license for Microsoft 365.
