Microsoft Edge Workspaces public beta now available for individuals

Microsoft has announced that the public preview of its Workspaces for Microsoft Edge feature is now available to some home users, which allows saving and sharing sets of browser tabs through a link.

The company presented this feature in the framework of microsoft ignite 2022, the annual event for developers and IT professionals, where he made this feature available to companies and organizations.

Microsoft Edge Workspaces are presented as spaces that collect a set of browser tabs that can be accessed by all users who are sent their link and allow collaboration in real time.

This functionality is now available to all users via a preview release. publicwhich maintains the security and privacy of this tool, since it does not share the browser screen or the data that it hosts among the users that are part of Workspace.

In this sense, Microsoft has clarified that each user will only see the content to which they have access and that only Edge Workspaces will be accessible if you are signed in to a Microsoft account.

Edge Workspaces will also not share sensitive account or browser data, such as login details, cookies or passwords among the members of that space.

To access this feature, you must sign in with a Microsoft account at microsoft edge from version 111.0.1661.51 or later versions. Initially this functionality will be available to a limited group of users.
