McDonald’s launched a new game for Game Boy Color in the middle of 2023

The Game Boy Color has been discontinued for more than a decade, but that doesn’t mean it has to stop receiving new games, right? This is how McDonalds thinks, a fast food company that has just launched a new game for the Nintendo laptop in the middle of 2023.

To celebrate the 52nd birthday of Grimace, its purple mascot, McDonald’s released a new game for the Game Boy Color. His name is Grimace’s Birthday (wow they took a risk with the name) and was developed by Krool Toys, a company whose mission is to revive the beginning of the millennium.

In Grimace’s Birthday You will control Grimance, who has to find his friends to celebrate his birthday before it’s too late. This is a side scrolling game where you have to overcome obstacles and do tricks on a skateboard. You must also collect 40 milkshakes and reach the end of each level before time runs out.

Grimance Birthday can be played on a PC or a mobile from this page in a completely legal and safe way. That being said, its ROM is also available for you to download and play on an original Game Boy Color if you have the means to do so.
