Years ago, Microsoft stopped offering figures on the number of consoles it has sold. For this reason it attracted a lot of attention that it seems that Microsoft was finally encouraged to reveal how many consoles it has sold in recent years.
As Twitter user John Welfere reports, the BIG Festival convention was recently held in Brazil. There was a presentation there supposedly revealing how many Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and Xbox One consoles have been sold.
According to the data, between the Xbox Series X and S they have already sold more than 21 million units. On the other hand, it points out that in total its 2 most recent generations of consoles shipped 79 million units. So this means that Xbox One and its revisions sold 58 million consoles.
The image also notes that 48% of Xbox Series S users are new to the Xbox ecosystem. So the console is fulfilling its mission of attracting new consumers to the world of Xbox.
