Neeko has been the protagonist of some of the most controversial changes of League of Legends in the last weeks. The character can now transform into almost any item or minion on Summoner’s Rift; In this way, he becomes the perfect spy to take the enemy team by surprise.
For this reason, Riot Games will be tweaking some elements of his abilities in patch 13.9. They admit in the most recent blog that it is not a very heavy update because they are preparing for version 13.10, which will be one of the most important at the start of the season.
“This week’s patch will be a bit lighter as we prepare for patch 13.10, which will be the biggest patch since the start of the season. The star of this patch will be the Neeko extension, but we’ve also got some functionality improvements and tweaks for some champions that aren’t performing as well as we’d like.”, details the developer company about the update.

NEEKO
PASSIVE – CHAMELEON ILLUSION
- Sho’Ma for Neeko!: If Neeko is near a non-epic monster, minion, trap, ward, or plant for two seconds, she stores her Sho’Ma. You can then click on its bar to transform into that unit. Clicking on Neeko’s face will return her to her original form. Clicking on the small “X” will discard the current Sho’Ma. Only one unit can be stored at a time.
- Neeko and her costume!: Disguise is no longer lost when taking damage, only when dying while disguised or being crowd controlled.
- REMOVEDNeeko For Speed: Neeko no longer receives base attack speed/movement speed from disguised targets if the target’s stats are higher than hers.
- Cooling: 25-10 seconds (based on level) ⇒ 2 seconds
Q – FLOWER BLAST
- Secondary/Tertiary Burst Damage: 40/65/90/115/140 (+20% ability power) ⇒ 35/60/85/110/135 (+25% ability power)
- effect area size: 225 ⇒ 250 (Note: Stuck in E’s max range should now always be able to be hit by Q)
- NEW Tomato to the jungle: Q now deals 30/40/50/60/70 bonus damage to monsters
- NEW improved bursts: If Q is cast beyond its maximum range, it will now cast the ability at maximum range instead of making Neeko walk to the position to cast it.
W – ESSENCE DIVISION
- NEWNeeko moves Neeko: After casting, Neeko can reactivate the ability to send the clone to a new location
- NEWLaughing Neeko!: Clone now performs all Q/E/Dance/Taunt/Taunt/Recall/Laughter animations and sounds and survives for its duration
- Neeko jungle!: Empowered attacks deal 50 extra damage to monsters
- Neeko, let’s be one: Neeko’s clone spawns 100 units in front of her ⇒ Neeko’s clone spawns directly above her

A: WILD DETONATION
- Adjusted Ultimate: After channeling for 1.25 seconds, Neeko leaps, knocking all nearby enemies into the air for 0.6 seconds. He then slams all enemies into the air, dealing magic damage and stunning them for 0.75 seconds.
- Cooling: 90 seconds ⇒ 120/105/90 seconds

- Fixed an issue that caused the on-screen keyboard to work incorrectly by not including all input in game chat.
