Kim Kardashian wants to be an actress now and it’s not fair

It seems that one of the stars of reality TV is changing her direction towards acting. Kim Kardashian was recently announced as the star of Ryan Murphy’s upcoming legal drama, “All’s Fair.”

The Kardashian family is known for the glamorous lives they portray on screen, but now they’re branching out to Hollywood. The Skims founder had already ventured into acting before, making her debut in Tyler Perry’s “Temptation” with a small role as Ava. Her “breakout role” came in season 12 of Murphy’s “American Horror Story,” which premiered in September. Now, the mother of four is stepping into the ring alongside acting heavyweights like Halle Berry and Glenn Close.

“All’s Fair” is described as a “high-stakes, glossy and sexy adult procedural” and features Kardashian as a Los Angeles-based divorce attorney who runs an all-female law firm. Details about the series’ plot are scarce, but Kardashian’s role promises to be significant.

Kris Jenner has been working overtime as her daughter’s manager. Kardashian is set to star in an upcoming film. Netflix movie, “The fifth wheel”, in which he plays the lead role, although details about the film are mostly a secret for now.

Social media has weighed in on Kardashian’s new project and opinions are mixed.

It seems fans want Kardashian to earn her place as an actress before landing major roles alongside industry veterans. Many were surprised to see her sitting with seasoned actors on Variety’s Actors on Actors series, where she chatted with “Big Love” star Chloë Sevigny.

While I support people who explore new opportunities and ensure their success, I think it’s important to respect the journey of actors who have put in the time and effort to hone their craft.

Reality shows can certainly offer a platform for increased visibility and opportunities. However, there are countless professional actors who aspire to share the screen with icons like Berry and Close and other talented stars.

It seems that her fame has opened doors for her that others may find more difficult to access without prior validation in acting. It’s a perspective worth considering.
