Ricky Martin’s legal team assured that the allegations of domestic violence against the artist are “completely false”.
The authorities of Puerto Rico went to the place where the singer Ricky Martin lives, to try to exercise the restrictive order that a judge issued against him, but a police spokesman said, “At the moment, the police have not been able to find him.”
At the moment, it is unknown who requested said restraining order. The police officer said he would not provide further details because the order was filed under Puerto Rico’s domestic violence law.
Therefore, since it is a case under the Law for the Prevention and Intervention with Domestic Violence, the Puerto Rico police do not reveal the name of the petitioning party.
According to the Puerto Rican newspaper “El Vocero”, the order indicates that the parties were related for seven months and separated two years ago, but Ricky has not accepted this separation.
In the document, he alleges that Ricky calls the petitioner frequently and has even loitered around his residence on at least three occasions for which “the petitioner fears for his safety”.
Ricky responds to the restraining order
Meanwhile, the artist’s legal team quickly responded on his behalf to the protection order issued by a court in Puerto Rico in favor of a person who has not yet been identified.
“We are confident that when the true facts come to light in this matter, our client Ricky Martin will be fully vindicated.”reads the statement issued by the singer’s public relations firm.
Ricky’s ex-manager sues him for millions
On the other hand, in recent days it was revealed that Ricky is facing a lawsuit from his former manager Rebecca Drucker, who claims three million dollars in unpaid commissions. The representative worked in two periods with the Puerto Rican, between 2014 and 2018 and from May 2020 to April 2022.
In addition, the woman alleges in the complaint she filed in a court in Los Angeles, that she protected the interpreter of “La mordidita” from the consequences of her “reckless indiscretions.”
It is worth mentioning that the famous man has been married since 2017 to the artist of Syrian origin Jwan Josef and has four children.
