Jetpack Joyride 2 is coming back!… but it will be exclusive to one platform

If you were one of the gamers of the first generations who played on smartphones, you surely remember Jetpack Joyride, a fun infinite horizontal scrolling shooter game. Well, it has just been revealed that its sequel will return very soon.

The company in charge of developing and distributing the franchise, Halfbrick Studios, reported that Jet Pack Joyride 2 It will debut on August 19, but not all players on mobile devices will be able to play it, as it will be exclusive to the Apple Arcade subscription service. Supported devices include iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac, and Apple TV (all require iOS 13.0 or higher, except Mac, which requires macOS 11.0) Pre-registration It is now available.

If this announcement sounds like déjà vu to you, it’s because Halfbrick Studios released this title last year for iOS (Apple Store) and Android (Google Play Store) devices in select territories, namely Australia, New Zealand and Canada, and it was expected to debut later in more regions, as is common in mobile titles.
