Jaime Maqueo started acting at a very young age. At the age of 10, he recorded his first soap opera and since then he discovered that he wanted to dedicate himself to acting. This is what he said in an interview with celebrity.land. “I started acting when I was very young, and I enjoyed it a lot. I made short calls and when I later saw that children my age were acting, I thought that I would like to be there, and my mother helped me get into an acting school. I recorded my first soap opera at the age of 10 and I knew that this was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life.”

The telenovela “El amor no tiene receta” (Love Has No Recipe), by producer Juan Osorio, was one of Televisa’s most popular productions. Based on an original story created by Pablo Ferrer García-Travesí and Santiago Pineda Aliseda, it focused on Samara, who was loved by her father Elías, but mistreated by her mother Ginebra.

Jaime played the character of Bosco Villa de Cortés Montada when he was a child. “I enjoyed being someone else, I have to get into someone else’s mindset. Bosco was a child who at first people didn’t like, but he was just a sad and frustrated child who lacked the love of his mother, but then you see the evolution of the changes in his life and in the end he finds love.”

The actor spoke about the lessons that this soap opera taught him. “I had the opportunity to work with many important actors with great careers, they helped me.”
