Israel attacks the Syrian-Lebanese border again

MADRID Dec. 6 (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Israel Defense Forces resumed the bombing of a border crossing between Syria and Lebanon in the early hours of this Friday, alleging that the Shiite militia party Hezbollah uses it to “transfer weapons”, just a week after the bombing it carried out with the same argument injuring two civilians.

“During the night, Air Force fighter jets attacked ammunition transfer hubs and terrorist infrastructure near the Syrian regime’s border crossings between Syria and Lebanon, which were used to transfer ammunition to the terrorist organization Hezbollah,” announced the Army on his social network account X.

The bombings began around 4:00 a.m. (local time), as reported by the Lebanese television channel Al Manar, which is affiliated with the Shiite militia party.

Israeli forces have assured that the objective of these attacks is to prevent Hezbollah from “transferring weapons” from Lebanon to Syria, “which are used to carry out terrorist attacks against the Israeli internal front.”

“The terrorist organization Hezbollah, with the support of the Syrian regime, uses civil infrastructure to carry out terrorist acts and transfer weapons, intended to be used against citizens of the State of Israel,” they defended.

“The IDF will continue to act to eliminate any threat to the State of Israel and will not allow the restoration of Hezbollah,” they said.

The Israeli Army carried out these attacks just a week after bombing around the border, wounding at least two civilians.
