April 14 (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Israeli Armed Forces have published this Sunday images of two projectile impacts corresponding to the attack with drones and Iranian ballistic missiles last night that caused slight damage to an air base in the Negev region.

Furthermore, the Israeli Armed Forces have highlighted that the projectiles were intercepted with the help of allied countries and the deployment of dozens of Israeli combat aircraft.

“Of the hundreds of launches, only a few rockets penetrated the territory of the State of Israel and caused only minor damage to the infrastructure of the Nevatim base,” the military statement said.

The text is accompanied by several images of the impact of projectiles, one in a desert area and another in what appears to be a paved area.

In any case, they highlight that “the operation of the Nevatim base was not affected” and “the planes continued to take off and land and fulfill defense and attack missions, both during the night and during the day.”

This Sunday, Iran fired more than 300 projectiles against Israel – drones, cruise and ballistic missiles -, the vast majority of them intercepted by Israel, in retaliation for a bombing attributed to Israel against its Consulate in Damascus (Syria) in the that 16 people were killed, including senior officials of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard.
