In networks the trend is nonconformity about the health reform

The health reform filed before Congress by the government of Gustavo Petro has aroused all kinds of reactions in public opinion. Many of them are critical of the project proposals.

The temperature in social networks has been one of disapproval of the project, according to the most recent report by the organization Change.org. Even, More than 32,000 Bogotanos are promoting a ‘signathon’ to show their nonconformity on the reform that, in his opinion, would affect the service and generate greater problems in care.

We went from having a very limited system in its resources, human talent, coverage and budget, to a modern one, with suitable and qualified human talent, which has high standards and is recognized throughout the world. But this health reform wants to change what is well done”, assured Jorge García, leader of the petition on Change.org.

(See: Members of a single household must be enrolled in a single EPS?).

On the other hand, more than 11,200 citizens are supporting the project of law with arguments such as ‘removing power’ from the EPS so that “they do not continue to keep the resources of the citizens”.

It should be noted that the bill focuses on the development of primary health care centers. The idea, according to what was said by the Minister of Health, Carolina Corcho, is to have care centers that spread throughout the country, public, private and mixed, with extramural teams. This is what the portfolio calls preventive health.

Now, the initiative still needs to be go through debates before Congress and its total approval is defined or with changes in some of the articles.
