The Director of Development and Innovation of the UdeC, Dr. Jorge Carpinelli Pavisich, He called for the university community to apply for the different lines of financing that the Corporation for the Promotion of Production (Corfo) has and, in this way, achieve impacts on society with the knowledge generated in the House of Studies.
“One of our goals is to impact with the knowledge generated from the university for the benefit and well-being of society,” said Carpinelli.
“We hope, on the one hand, to capture the interest of our academic community in these calls, but along with that, to strengthen our role in the services and support that we must provide in the formulation and application processes,” he added.
Available lines
There are five contests in the Innovation line of CORFO that are currently receiving applications and from the Vice President for Research and Development of the University of Concepción, UdeC, they extended the invitation to their academics to apply.
One of them is Join to Innovate Reactivatewhich until next Tuesday, July 5, will extend the reception of proposals for projects that promote innovation as a means to solve problems and challenges in companies, through the link with Collaborating Entities.
For its part, Consolidate and Expand Innovation Reactivate seeks to support the scaling of a marketable technological product and its validation and packaging. The application period for this initiative closes on Wednesday, July 6.
Meanwhile, until Tuesday, July 12, Innova Region receives applications. This contest finances the development of new or improved products, processes and/or services that contribute to the regional economy, from prototypes to commercial validation.
That same day, the reception of applications for the contest closes Create and Validate R+D+i that supports the development of new or improved technology-based products, processes and/or services, from prototypes to their technical validation on an industrial and commercial scale, that solve problems and/or challenges in the productive sector or address a market opportunity, through R+D+i.
Finally, Innova High Technology Sustainability Focus Aimed at R&D projects with high technological risk in the framework of the generation of technologies and productive technological capacities under the action framework of SDGs 6, 7 and 9, it receives proposals until Tuesday, August 23.
