How to change the password of your Telmex modem?

There are two ways to change the password and name of your modem: online or through the company’s application.

By Internet

in the app

• Download the Telmex app.

• Enter the information requested (Telmex telephone number, the serial number of the modem and your email) and click “Continue”.
• When this screen appears, choose the new name of your modem and the new password that you want to use, and click “Update”.
• To finish, verify that the data you chose is correct and that’s it, the name and password of your modem will have been successfully modified. We will send you a confirmation email.

Remember, once this process is done, you must configure all your devices with which you connect via WiFi, using the new data you chose.
