The space also includes a wide wardrobe, a reclining couch and a living room which can be transformed into a private dining room.

This luxurious accommodation, the largest on the trainhas a library with more than a thousand books selected by the French publisher Gallimard and a secret tea room with fireplace. On the roof of the bedroom and the tea room there are two oculos that allow the sky to be observed while the train travels Europe.

The car is a series of different environments where JR injects an extraordinary level of detail. It presents elements designed to awaken the curiosity of guests, including hidden compartments and secret messages integrated into the intricate marquetry, in collaboration with Atelier Philippe Allemand.

How much does it cost to travel in L’Obidatoire?

The L’Observatoire car is available at request, even in the classic route of a night from Paris to Venice and in the annual itinerary of five nights from Paris to Istanbul.

The stay per night includes all the meals with wines selected by a sommelier and unlimited alcohol without alcohol, 24 -hour butler service, private dinners in the cabin, transfers to and from the train, personalized amenities and “special surprises of JR”.
