He did it again! Phil Spencer hid another clue to the future of Xbox hardware on his bookshelf

Phil Spencer, head of Xbox, is known for several things. From saving the course of the company after the disastrous launch of the Xbox One, to loving video games like few others. Another thing he’s known for is hiding clues about future Xbox projects on his bookshelf, and now he’s at it again.

This morning, Xbox posted a video to announce that PC Game Pass is coming to more regions. As part of the video we can see Phil Spencer thanking the community for all the support they have given his services since its launch.

Seeing Spencer in front of her bookshelf, fans understood what they had to do: get out the magnifying glass. In this way, they began to analyze in depth what the Xbox manager kept there. In doing so they discovered that, indeed, Phil Spencer did it again.

What can be seen on the shelf this time is a new Xbox hardware that has not yet been revealed, yes, it is not the first time we have seen it either. This is Keystone, hardware designed for Xbox Cloud Gaming and offer cloud gaming on any TV with an HDMI screen.

As you can see, the Keystone is white just like an Xbox Series S, but it’s also much smaller. You can also see the Xbox logo, as well as a USB port that is surely designed to charge devices.
Keep in mind that the Keystone is only a prototype and may never be released, or at least not in this form. Let’s remember that a company spokesman recently acknowledged the existence of this device, noting that they had to rethink it in order to offer it at a competitive price.
