The head of the political arm of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), Ismail Haniye, warned this Sunday from Lebanon that in case of war, Palestinian missiles will destroy the “Zionist regime” in a matter of “minutes”.
Haniye has assured that in the event of a future war with Israel “150 missiles will destroy the Zionist regime in less than five minutes”, he has threatened.
“Lebanon has sympathized with Palestine for 74 years. Today we see the early liberation of the Al Aqsa Mosque because we are in an era of victory and development whose course is decided by our nation and our resistance,” added Haniye.
In addition, Haniye recalled the blockade imposed by Israel on the Gaza Strip “by land, air and sea”, but highlighted the response of the Palestinian militias in the so-called Operation Sword of Jerusalem. “With that sword Gaza is preparing for a strategic confrontation with Israel,” she warned.
At the international level, Haniye has criticized the normalization of relations with Israel agreed by several Arab countries in recent months and has stated that it is a “very dangerous” step because “fierce resistance is the only strategic option against the Israeli occupation” .
