April 16 (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) has called to “activate all forms of resistance” in the face of the increase in armed attacks by settlers against Palestinians in the West Bank, after the death of six Palestinians in such incidents since on Friday.

The Islamist group has denounced that “settler militias persist in their attacks” against towns in the West Bank, including the death of two other Palestinians during the day on Monday in a “barbaric attack” southeast of the city of Nablus.

“It is a continuation of the crimes promoted by the Nazi occupation government and its criminal leaders,” Hamas said, adding that “the blood of the martyrs will not be in vain, but will generate revenge and a fire that will burn the people.” occupation and its hordes of settlers”, as reported by the newspaper 'Filastin', linked to the group.

Likewise, he stressed that “the increase in organized attacks by settler militias against citizens and their property, as well as their use of live fire, is a dangerous escalation and proof of the brutality of the occupation, which spills Palestinian blood before its overwhelming desire to displace them from their land to implement their evil plan to liquidate the Palestinian cause.

For this reason, it has reiterated its call to the Palestinians in the West Bank and East Jerusalem to “intensify and increase all types of resistance actions” and to “confront with all their force the brutal attacks by the settlers to deter them and put an end to end this criminal wave”.

The Ministry of Health linked to the Palestinian Authority late Monday put the number of citizens “martyred” by shooting by Israeli forces and attacks by settlers since Friday at seven, before adding that another fourteen Palestinians were seriously injured. in these incidents, according to a message on his Telegram account.

The spike in attacks by settlers began last Friday in the West Bank with the disappearance of the young Israeli Benjamin Achimeir, 14, whose lifeless body was found this past Saturday after what the Israeli Army described as a “terrorist attack”.
