GUNNIR Intel Arc A770 8 GB tested up to 2.65 GHz and with a maximum temperature of 67º

Intel has released its most powerful graphics cards based on Alchemist, the Intel Arc A7 Series. But at the moment we have only seen Intel reference models of the Arc A770 and A750 for sale, with no trace of models from other manufacturers such as those from GUNNIR, ASRock or Acer. From EXpreview have done with one of these new GUNNIR Intel Arc A770 Flux 8GB.

Is GUNNIR Intel Arc A770 Flux 8GB has a clock speed of 2,400MHzslightly higher than the manufacturer’s advertised spec of 2,100 MHz, but memory speed is lower than Intel’s reference models, 17.5 Gbps vs. 16 Gbps of this GUNNIR model. In the 3DMark test the card has managed to maintain a constant 2.4 GHz with a temperature that has not exceeded 67º.

From EXPreview they mention that they have managed to overclock this model, reaching just over 3 GHz, but it was very unstable, maintaining this speed for a very short time. They finally got it to work 2,650MHz250 MHz more than the already increased speed that this model has.

In terms of consumption, the GUNNIR Intel Arc A770 Flux has two 8-pin connectors that have consumed up to 329W, a somewhat high consumption. Consumption is also high when it is idle, about 50 Wan issue that Intel is aware of and is working to fix.

At the moment it is difficult to find any of these custom Intel models, except for the new Acer Predator BiFrost Intel Arc A770 OC which, at the moment, is being sold in Taiwan.
