Christmas dates are approaching, and this implies that Soon the purchases of gifts will begin that will have to be taken into account for their reception. That is why, as we read in PhoneArenait seems that Google is planning to add a package tracking system to Gmail.
Google says that in the coming weeks, users will be able to see a “simple and useful view of their package’s tracking and delivery information right in their inboxes.” This means that orders with tracking numbers will be prominently displayed to draw our attention, thus showing the tracking status of each package.
We will also find a summary card at the top of the emails when we open them, with a full-size graphic that will give us quick and concise information on the status of our package.
Package tracking will support most major US carriers, and users will be able to see a package’s estimated arrival date and status (“Arrived today”, “Coming tomorrow” and “Printing label”), although this should be able to expand to the rest of the world as the weeks go by, as it may not arrive in time for this Christmas campaign outside of the United States.
