() — Superstars Gisele Bündchen and Tom Brady, who got married in 2009, are going through a difficult period.
Brady, the seven-time Super Bowl champion who currently plays for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and his wife, Bündchen, a model, are dealing with “marital issues,” according to a source close to the couple.
Currently “they live separately,” another source close to Bündchen told .

Brady, 45, had retired from the NFL in February, only to later reverse that decision. In August he missed 11 days of training camp “to attend to personal matters,” according to his coach Todd Bowles.
Gisele Bündchen, Brady’s wife, told the elle magazine that she had “concerns” about her husband, already the oldest quarterback in NFL history, returning after he retired in February.
“This is a very violent sport, and I have my children and I would like him to be more present,” Bündchen said. “I’ve definitely had those conversations with him over and over again. But ultimately, I think everybody has to make a decision that works for him. He has to pursue the joy of it as well.”
Brady noted on his podcast “Let’s Go!” with Jim Gray on Tuesday the impact decades of playing in the NFL have had on his priorities.
“I haven’t had a Christmas in 23 years and I haven’t had a Thanksgiving in 23 years, I haven’t celebrated birthdays with people I care about who are born from August to the end of January. And I can’t be at funerals or weddings,” he told Gray. “I think there comes a time in your life where you say, ‘You know what? I’ve had enough and it’s time to move on, to move on to other parts of life.'”
