As an internationally recognized center of expertise, the European program works in key areas of the energy transition: energy planning, regulation and markets, both on-grid and off-grid (connected to the grid or isolated), and integration renewable energy to the grid. By deriving global best practices and adapting standardized tools to local needs, GET.transform enables partner countries and regions to develop the right framework conditions for large-scale clean energy deployment. GET.transform is part of the multi-donor European platform Global Energy Transformation Program (GET.pro), and is supported by the European Union, Germany, Sweden, the Netherlands and Austria. GET.transform supports ECLAC in the implementation of the Regional Forum of Energy Planners, FOREPLEN.
