French Foreign Minister Catherine Colonna assured this Thursday from Odessa, where she met with her Ukrainian counterpart, Dimitro Kuleba, that neither France nor its allies are at war with Russia.

“What we saw this morning, that is, new attacks against Ukrainian civilian installations, is not a war: it is a war crime,” the French Foreign Minister told the LCI chain.

The Ukrainian authorities have reported this Thursday that as a result of the air strikes launched by Russia throughout this day in various regions of the country, eleven people have died and many others have been injured.

On the other hand, asked about the possible supply of Leclerc tanks to Ukraine after French President Emmanuel Macron himself stated that this possibility is not ruled out, Colonna stressed that, for the moment, no decision has been made.

Colonna’s statements come after the Kremlin stressed on Thursday that the latest actions by the West regarding the shipment of weapons to kyiv are considered a “direct participation in the conflict.”

“For Moscow, everything that the Alliance and the capitals that I have mentioned are doing is perceived as a direct participation in the conflict. We see that this is increasing,” the Kremlin has maintained, as reported by the Russian news agency Interfax. .
