CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — Charleston’s 17th annual Hanukkah Square Celebration returns Sunday, promising food, entertainment and festivities.
Hanukkah in the Square lasts from 4:00 to 6:00 pm on Sunday, December 29 in Marion Square and was organized by Chabad of Charleston and the Yaschik/Arnold Jewish Studies Program at the College of Charleston.
Described as an “extravaganza,” organizers said there will be children’s crafts, a giant menorah lighting, live music and entertainment for children, plus giveaways.
The free event will also feature plenty of hot food, including latkes, burgers, chicken soup and more.
