Facebook introduces a tool to get personalized story suggestions from other users

13 Apr. (Portaltic/EP) –

Goal has introduced a new tool on Facebook that allows users to obtain personalized stories through suggestions based on data extracted from their photos, videos or their location.

Like Instagram, the other social network owned by Meta, Facebook has a section of stories whose audiences can be configured and which last 24 hours.

These are placed at the top of the interface, just below the ‘What are you thinking?’ bar, and stories can be created directly from this section. In the web version of Facebook, on the other hand, the platform It allows both filtering by Stories and by ‘Reels’.

The social network also shows the contact histories and personal profiles of the platform, and of pages in which users appear as followers.

The company is working to offer users more personal and personalized content, with a tool called ‘Advanced Stories’, that uses technology to create content based on your data, as verified by social media analyst and consultant Matt Navarre.

“Get better personalized stories that include pets and people, travel highlights and higher quality images,” reads this notification, which includes a button to try the feature and another to dismiss this opportunity.

“Allow Facebook to suggest prepared stories for you using your advanced photo and video data, including image quality, location, and the presence of people or animals!” is indicated on this screen.

The company, which has not given more information about this option, has indicated that to use this feature it adheres to the guidelines of the social network community.
