NASA astronaut Tracy C. Dyson and Roscosmos cosmonauts Oleg Kononenko and Nikolai Chub have returned from the International Space Station on a flight of just three and a half hours.
The trio lifted off from the orbital complex aboard the Soyuz MS-25 spacecraft at 08:36 UTC on September 23, and made a safe parachute landing at 11:59 UTC southeast of the remote town of Dzhezkazgan, Kazakhstan, NASA reported.

Breaking the record for permanence On the Station during a single stay, Kononenko and Chub spent 374 days in space on a journey of 255 million kilometers, spanning 5,984 orbits. Kononenko completed her fifth flight in space, accumulating a record 1,111 days in orbit, and Chub completed his first spaceflight.

Dyson lifted off on March 23 and arrived at the station on March 25. During 184 days in space, Dyson’s third spaceflight covered 2,944 orbits of the Earth and a 125 million kilometer journey as the Expedition 70/71 flight engineer. Dyson also performed a 31-minute space walkbringing her career total to 23 hours and 20 minutes over four spacewalks.
Following post-landing medical checks, the crew returned to the recovery town in Karaganda, Kazakhstan.
