September 27 () –

Republican Left (ERC), EH Bildu and the BNG have registered the request for the Housing Minister, Isabel Rodríguez, to appear in the plenary session of Congress, given the “inaction” of her department and the “lack of measures” to enable access of citizenship to decent housing.

The three parties, regular partners of the coalition government, also want the Housing Minister to explain the statements she made appealing to the solidarity of owners as a way to contain the rise in rental prices, which cost her a barrage of criticism from Sumar. , minority partner of the coalition Executive.

Specifically, several officials from Sumar and its allied formations attacked Rodríguez for his statements, which they consider an “insult to intelligence” and buying “the framework of the right.”

Now, the two parties and the deputy of the Mixed Group that have registered the request to appear also criticize the minister’s words, which ERC calls “irresponsible.”
