Türkiye’s new ambassador in Colombia delivered a copy of credential letters to the chancellor

The Vice President and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Marta Lucía Ramírez, received a copy of the credentials that accredit Beste Pehlivan Sun, as the new ambassador of Türkiye in Colombia. It happened on July 19.

At the protocol meeting, Ramírez and the new ambassador discussed the main issues on the bilateral agenda such as gender equality, education and student mobility, as well as current cooperation issues and ongoing initiatives, and highlighted the good moment of the bilateral relationship, with elevation to the level of strategic partner.

About the new Ambassador

Beste Pehlivan Sun is a graduate of the University of Ankara -Faculty of Political Science & International Relations-, and has extensive experience in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkey.
