Codemasters has announced the roadmap that EA Sports WRC will follow throughout the next year, which in this case runs from July 2024 to spring 2025. The main novelty is a 2024 season expansion, the purchase of which will also give access to two additional contents that will arrive next winter and spring. Before all this we have the Season 6 Rally Pass, which will go live on July 30.

The EA Sports WRC 2024 Season Expansion doesn’t have a price or release date yet, but we do know that it will be available in October, aiming to bring the game up to date with the current season. This means it will include new locations, rally stages, high-performance vehicles, liveries and more. For new players, the EA Sports WRC 2024 Season Edition will be released in October, uniting the EA Sports WRC base game and the EA Sports WRC 2024 Season Expansion that offers access to the two additional content packs that will be released later.

These DLC packs will arrive in Winter (2024/205) and Spring (2025). Both will include new vehicles, additional rally stages for existing locations, moments and more.

As for the Season 6 Rally Pass, which will be free to play from 30 July to September, it will offer new bundled rewards of helmets, racing suits and gloves, adding more possibilities to complete entire collections. For the first time, liveries will be available for vehicle classes other than the WRC, which should give players more ways to customise their rally experience. Codemasters is also preparing a series of online event series and a live finale to coincide with the end of the season.

“The WRC 2024 Expansion ensures our game content stays fresh, allowing players to further their careers with the introduction of two exciting locations, more vehicles and expanded customisation options,” says Matthew Battison, Creative Director at Codemasters. “The free Season 6 Rally Pass gives players even more reasons to come back to the game ahead of our big plans for later in the year.”
