One of the most famous video editors in recent years has been DaVinci Resolve. This powerful video editing tool is free for personal use on PC, but it’s no match for professional solutions like Vegas Pro or Adobe Premiere. Now make the leap from computers to tablets when launched Davinci Resolve for iPad.
Although Davinci Resolve for iPad will be compatible with all iPads with iPad OS 16 and higher versions, the most powerful options (the same as on PC) will only be compatible with models that integrate a processor Apple Silicon M1 or Apple Silicon M2so the list of devices that support all the advanced features is reduced to the latest generations of the iPad Pro.
The version for MacOs computers based on the M1 SoC was already available, and the inclusion of these high-performance ARM SoCs in the iPad Pro has made the line that divided Apple’s laptops and tablets much finer now.
Davinci Resolve for regular or older iPads will have some limited features, such as high video resolutions or multi-display capabilities. On iPad Pro with M1 and M2, you can use the same features as on computers such as AI acceleration, cloud collaboration, and all transitions.
