With the advent of this new generation of AMD and Intel processors for desktops, M.2 SSDs with faster bus PCI Express 5.0 they are starting to appear. One of the best-known brands in terms of manufacturing flash storage units has revealed the performance results of your next drivethe Crucial T700 Gen 5. This new PCIe 5.0 compliant SSD offers up to 12,000 MB/s sequential read.
This Crucial T700 SSD is built with a controller Phison E26 along with memory 3D FTA NAND and Crucial's own DDR4 DRAM cache, from the looks of the image, it looks like will carry a small heat sink. It will be available in 3 capacities of 1, 2 and 4 TB, with some differences between them. The 1TB version is capable of read at 11,500 MB/s and write up to 8,500 MB/sthis model offers a resistance of 800TBW. The 2TB and 4TB models have the same configuration, with reads up to 12,000MB/s and writes up to 11,000MB/s, the 2TB model has an endurance of 1,200TBW and the 4 TB one offers double, 2,400TBW.
These new faster drives from Crucial are expected to be available in a couple of monthsin May of this same year, but for the moment there is no price for these new Crucial drives.
