The Vice Minister of Higher Education, Ana Carolina Quijanosigned the international cooperation agreement with his South African counterpart Buti Manamelain order to create a network of Colombian-African universities.

“This agreement marks a roadmap for the internationalization of higher education institutions in Colombia. We seek to enhance our educational offer in the world and take advantage of these exchanges to prepare our students for global challenges.”, explained Vice Minister Quijano.

Thus, Colombia and South Africa affirmed their commitment to form the network of Colombian-African universities that aims to work in the promotion of academic mobility of students and teachers, the teaching of the English and Spanish languages, the exchange of experiences for peace, anti-racism and gender policies, as well as educational models of rural educationamong many other fronts.
