The Spanish Confederation of Work Cooperatives (Coceta), together with 10 associated entities, has created 311 companies and has generated 576 new jobs in 2022 through the 2017-2023 Social Inclusion and Social Economy Operational Program, through the Fund European Social Security (Poises), as reported in a statement.
In this way, Coceta has pointed out that, together with part of its territorial network, they have served 1,534 people interested in undertaking through the cooperative model and are managing 6.22 million euros through the different calls for this program, whose latest programming ends this August.
Likewise, they have highlighted that this creation and improvement of companies and employment has been done fundamentally through associated work cooperatives.
Since the confederation, they have stressed that the creation of work cooperatives or other social economy companies is the final objective of Poises, but to achieve it, they have carried out activities such as awareness-raising, dissemination, initial advice, accompaniment and start-up. , follow-up in the first steps, business consolidation and public-private agreements.
