Celine Dion cancels her entire tour "Courage World Tour" for health problems

() — Celine Dion has canceled all dates on her “Courage World Tour” through 2024 as the singer continues to battle a rare neurological disorder, it was announced Friday.

“I’m so sorry to let you all down once again,” reads an announcement on the singer’s social media. “I’m working very hard to get my strength back, but touring can be very difficult even when you’re 100%. It’s not fair to you guys to keep postponing concerts and even though it breaks my heart, it’s better that we cancel everything now until we be really ready to get back on stage. I want everyone to know that I’m not giving up…and I’m looking forward to seeing you all again!”

Dion postponed several concerts in December after announcing she had been diagnosed with stiff person syndrome, a condition, she said, that prevents her “from singing like I’m used to.”

This disorder is “a rare and progressive syndrome that affects the nervous system, specifically the brain and spinal cord,” according to the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke.

“Although we’re still learning about this rare condition, we now know that this is what’s been causing all the spasms I’ve been having,” Dion said at the time.

“Unfortunately, these spasms affect all aspects of my daily life, sometimes making it difficult for me to walk and not allowing me to use my vocal chords to sing as I am used to.”

Tickets for your concerts will be refunded from your point of purchase.
