Carolina Marín, Princess of Asturias Sports Award 2024

The Spanish badminton player Carolina Marin has been awarded the Princess of Asturias Award of Sports 2024. The jury read the ruling this Wednesday at 12:00 p.m. at the Barceló Cervantes Hotel in Oviedo.

Marín has been olympic champion in Rio de Janeiro in 2016, three-time world championin 2014, 2015 and 2018, champion in the Krakow European Games 2023and seven-time European championin 2014, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2021, 2002 and 2024.

Carolina Marín wins the Princess of Asturias Award 2024

They were eligible for this award 24 candidates from 14 nationalities. This is the third of the eight international awards that the Foundation announces annually. Princess of Asturias and this year they reach their XLV edition.
