Brief: Cyberpunk 2077 director opens new studio alongside former CD Projekt Red developers

The new development team that is formed with workers who have gone through CD Projekt Red responds to the name of Blank. At the head of this Warsaw-based studio we have Mateusz Kanik, who was the director of Cyberpunk 2077 and co-director of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. He is joined among others by Jedrzej Mroz and Marcin Jefimow, executive producers of The Witcher 3. All three are listed as co-founders.

Currently Blank. It has a team of 10 workers, but the goal is to expand to 60 employees. His first project is already underway and it is a game based on the characters and set in an apocalypse. With this there are already two studies created by former CD Projekt Red employees. The first called Rebel Wolves was presented in 2022, has the support of NetEase and develops a dark fantasy RPG.
