Bioshock, the Netflix movie, is still standing and there are new details of the production

adaptation of video game to movies or series is the new fashion. In recent years, we’ve seen Sonic in live-action, much like the Pokémon in Detective Pikachu. In 2022, on the other hand, the Resident Evil series premiered on Netflix and HBO is already working on the production of The Last of Us.

Well, the next great video game saga that will make the leap to the small screen is bioshock. The project has been announced for many years, but it was not known where it was going.

Netflix has shared the first details of the film. It will be directed by Francis Lawrence, who has been in charge of projects such as I Am Legend and The Hunger Games.

The script, on the other hand, is in charge of Michael Green, who wrote for different projects such as Logan, Blade Runner 2049 and American Gods. Without a doubt, the project is in good hands.

However, the Bioshock universe is so big that many gamers wonder which of all the games they will adapt. It would make sense to work with the first installment where we first meet Booker DeWitt as he explores the streets of a decaying Rapture.
