At least one person has been killed and several others injured Friday night in a suspected terror attack after a suspect opened fire and plowed into a crowd with a car on the Tel Aviv city waterfront.
Specifically, five people have been injured: three of a moderate nature, including a 17-year-old girl, while two, a 50-year-old man and a 70-year-old woman, have minor injuries, as reported by the national emergency service in your Twitter profile.
Likewise, the medical team that has traveled to the area has detailed that the fatal victim is 30 years old. According to the newspaper ‘The Times of Israel’, he would be a foreign tourist, although for the moment his nationality has not been officially confirmed.
Police have reported that the attacker, a resident of Kafr Qassem, has been “neutralized” after he fired and rammed his car into the crowd. For their part, the emergency services have confirmed that the 35-year-old suspect has been shot dead.
After the terrorist attack, the Israeli prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, has ordered to strengthen the security forces to deal with the growing number of terrorist attacks, his office said in a statement collected by the newspaper ‘Haaretz’.
