Asus Republic of Games (ROG) has unveiled the new ROG Zephyrus G14 and G16 laptops, which the brand itself has defined as “the best options for gamers and creators looking for portability without sacrificing performance” by having the latest processors. Intel and AMD and be powered by Nvidia GeForce RTX GPU.
The company has presented the new features of its catalog at the virtual event Unlock the ROG Lab: For Those Who Dares at CES 2025 in Las Vegas (United States), where it has also shown its new gaming desktop, ROG G700.
Much of its presentation has revolved around its new laptops, which are divided into different families: Zephyrus (G14/G16), ROG Strix SCAR (16/18) and ROG Strix G (16 and 18), as has also pointed out in a press release.
About the first of these series, Zephyrus G14/G16Asus has indicated that “they are the best options for gamers and creators looking for portability without sacrificing performance.” They are constructed from a milled aluminum chassis and balance lightweight design with structural durability.
These models are equipped with the Intel Core Ultra 9 285H processor or with different versions of AMD Ryzen AI (350, HX 370), as well as the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090, 5080, 5070 Ti and 5070 dedicated laptop GPUs.
Zephyrus G14 is a Copilot+ PC that comes with a ROG Nebula OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 0.2 ms response time. The larger screen, on the other hand, comes with a 240Hz refresh rate, although its response time is similar.
Both G14 and G16 also incorporate an advanced cooling system with second-generation Arc Flow fans, although the G14 – which weighs 1.5 kilograms – has robust heat pipes and the G16 (1.85 kg) benefits from steam chambers. The two computers also have Slash lighting and are available in platinum white and eclipse gray.
ROG STRIX
Another of the series presented at CES 2025 is ROG Strix SCAR 16/18, that come with an Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX chip, with up to 24 cores and 32 threads capable of reaching TDP levels of 65W. They also support Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 GPU, which offers up to 175W TGP.
The screens of these examples are also ROG Nebula HDR, with 2.5K resolution, more than 2,000 dimming zones, 16:10 aspect ratio and 240 Hz refresh rate. In addition, their panels have a maximum brightness of 1,200 nits and The immersive experience is driven by the high ambient contrast ratio (ACR).
As for its cooling technology, with a custom vapor chamber, Asus has indicated that it also comes with an interlayer heatsink and advanced TriFan technology. Additionally, it has been enhanced with Conductonaut Extreme liquid metal to keep temperatures low during gaming and reduce noise levels to 45 dB.
ROG Strix G16/G18 They mount a ROG Nebula panel with 2.5K resolution and 240Hz refresh rate, as well as a response time of 3 ms. They also feature 100 percent DCI-P3 color coverage and ACR technology to enhance the gaming experience.
They offer fast AAA gaming performance and smooth content creation because they are powered by the AMD Ryzen 9 9955HX, AMD Ryzen 9 9955HX3D or Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX processor. As for their storage space, they boast up to 32 GB of 5600 MHz DDR5 RAM.
Heat management is also done through advanced Tri-Fan technology, they incorporate a 1080p resolution FHD camera and two PCIe Gen 4.0 SSD slots. On this occasion, they will be available in Volt Green (dark green) and Eclipse Gray (gray).

In the presentation of the products that expand its catalog, Asus has presented the new TUF Gaming 2025, which has an 18-inch screen and is equipped with the latest processors from AMD, Intel and Nvidia. Specifically, the A16, F16 and A18 models form the family,
The latter has a panel with a resolution of 2.5K, a refresh rate of 240 Hz, up to 500 nits of maximum brightness and 32 GB DDR5 5600 MHz memory and up to 2 TB of PCIe 4 storage, among other specifications. The smaller models, on the other hand, raise a frequency of 165Hz, although they maintain their 2.5K resolution.
Likewise, Asus has indicated that all versions have 90Wh batteries, which are charged via USB-C port and support up to 100W of power supply. They also come with second-generation Arc Flo Fans, with a new turbine design.
