Through the Department for Social Prosperity, The Government of Colombia coordinates and implements various public policies to mitigate inequality and strengthen social inclusion. For this purpose, the entity has a set of programs such as Citizen Income, Youth Income, VAT Refund, among others. How can a citizen verify their data in the agency?

How to verify your data in Social Prosperity?

To corroborate your data with the entity in charge of coordinating social programs, you must follow the following steps:

1) Enter the official Social Prosperity page: https://prosperidadsocial.gov.co.

2) Find the section of the specific program you are enrolled in or want to apply to, such as Citizen Income, Youth Income, VAT Refund, etc.

3) Within each program, there are usually consultation options to verify your status, review payments and update your information.​

To check with your ID number

Some programs allow direct consultation by entering the ID number in a form, as is the case of Citizen Income.

To know if you are registered to receive financial assistance from any Citizen Income intervention line, you must follow the following steps:

1) Enter the Social Prosperity website: https://rentaciudadana.prosperidadsocial.gov.co/

2) Click on the section: “Check if you are registered”.

3) Enter your document number and the date your ID was issued.

4) Check if your home is included in the Citizen Income list.
