Alienware has presented its new line of ‘gaming’ computers Area-51, which includes the Area-51 Desktop computer and the Area-51 Laptops of 16 and 18 inches, powered by processors Intel Core Ultra 9 and with a new AW30 design inspired by extraterrestrial phenomena.
The gaming device firm owned by Dell has announced its latest developments within the framework of the CES 2025where he announced the return of Alienware’s “iconic Area-51”which has been revived in desktop and laptop form, including cutting-edge features to power triple-A gaming.
In this sense, Alienware has presented the new Area-51 Desktop, a PC designed to house “high-performance” gaming components with a 80L tower. Specifically, it offers over 600W of graphics power and up to 280W of dedicated processing powerin addition to being compatible with the latest generation NVIDIA graphics and being equipped with a Intel Core Ultra 9 285K CPUallowing you to run games with high performance.
Regarding its storage, it has a 8TB capacity with NVMe M.2 PCIe Gen4 SSDs, complete with a 64GB RAM DDR5 at 6400 MT/s.
As the company has pointed out, it has been designed with standard components that allow users easily replace and repair the “most critical” partssuch as the motherboard, power supply, CPU, GPU or storage. In fact, it includes QR codes inside the chassis that redirect to video tutorials on repairs and modifications.
Likewise, the Area-51 Desktop includes a ventilation system that, through multiple fans, redirects cold air toward key components, expelling hot air from the rear. It also has options for 240mm, 360mm and 420mm liquid cooling.
AREA-51 LAPTOPS
On the other hand, Alienware has presented its new laptops Area-51 Laptopswhich arrive in two 16 and 18 inch sizes with high performance capabilities for video games and a new design inspired by extraterrestrial phenomena.
As the company has explained, it is a new design called AW30 what is inspired by the northern lightswith a Housing with ‘Liquid Teal’ anodized aluminum finish that changes color to greenish tones and a rear panel illuminated using AlienFX animations. Furthermore, the bottom of the laptop is made of a Transparent Gorilla Glass that reveals the internal workings.
Regarding their operation, the new laptops are equipped with processors Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX and latest generation NVIDIA GPUs. Likewise, it offers a 280W power, combining up to 175W of graphic power and 105W for the processor. With all this, Alienware has also stressed that they are the brand’s first laptops with support for Gen 5 solid state driveswith up to 12TB of configurable storage.
Following this line, they have a architecture Cryo-tech thermal which “unlocks new levels of performance, cooling and airflow.” Thus, compared to previous Alienware laptops, the new Area-51 move up to 37 percent more air and are 15 percent quieter.
ALIENWARE 27 4K QD-OLED MONITOR

Also, it includes a 360 degree ventilation and a small base.
Finally, it also offers different connectivity and performance options, with HDMI 2.1 FRL support for 4K at 240Hz and HDMI 2.1 support FRL eARC for high-definition audio, including Dolby Atmos, as well as being equipped with an improved AI algorithm to prevent panel burn-in effect and three-year warranty. This new monitor will be available in Europe in April of this year.
