Adolfo Domínguez has notified his labor representatives of the initiation of a procedure to negotiate and agree on a new system for variable remuneration for sales commissions for workers who provide services in the group’s stores in Spain.
“The new variable remuneration system for sales commissions pursues an updated system for the entire group of stores and more focused on the growth of the company,” the Galician firm highlighted in a statement sent to the National Securities Market Commission ( CNMV).
The company has some 145 stores at the end of its last fiscal year, with a total of 530 employees, the majority of whom are women.
Specifically, the objective of the negotiation is to transfer sales productivity to the workforce entitled to variable remuneration for sales commissions, so that these commissions fulfill the purpose of encouraging the growth, competitiveness and profitability of the company.
The procedure requires the constitution of a negotiating commission, made up of the company’s management and the representative commission of the social part.
For the opening of the consultation period, the Galician firm intends to initiate the procedure indicated in article 41 of Royal Legislative Decree 2/2015, of October 23, which approves the revised text of the Law on the Statute of Workers in relation to the substantial modifications of working conditions of a collective nature.
The firm has indicated that the start of the procedure will be notified in a timely manner to the legal representatives of the workers of the stores with the right to variable remuneration for sales commissions.
