A 23-year-old Palestinian identified as Yazan Omar Jasib was killed on Friday night in the north of the city of Ramallah by shots from Israeli soldiers.
The Ministry of Health of the Palestinian Authority has reported that Jasib was shot by Israeli soldiers at a checkpoint at the entrance to the city, according to the Palestinian news agency WAFA.
Jasib was transferred in critical condition by the Israeli military but was declared dead a few minutes later.
Israeli troops prevented access to the wounded Palestinian by a Palestinian ambulance and Palestinian medical personnel and blocked the way to traffic.
With this there are already 89 Palestinians killed in actions by the security forces and Palestinian settlers so far this year, including several minors and an elderly woman.
