Some users on Twitter have found a bug that apparently gives them a blue check markwhich can currently only be obtained by paying for the Twitter Blue subscription, without making the payment. While this doesn’t seem to work for everyone, it seems that one of the possible requirements is have been verified before Elon Musk’s purchase of Twitter.
In general, Phrases like “former blue check”, “legacy blue check” or even “blue check” seem to work to get the blue check mark back for a few minutesbut other users who have never had such a mark have managed to have it appear on their profile through these methods.
In other cases, other users have seen how any modification of the Twitter profile made the brand appear, being able to write anything like “hi” so that the mark appearssomething that makes it clear that there is a bug on the platform that allows this brand not only to be seen by us, but any user in it.
As expected, Neither Twitter nor Elon Musk have spoken about itin the same way that they have not done so about the changes that have broken the behavior of the extensions that they were used to recognize Twitter Blue payers.
