Liam Payne traveled to Argentina to see his former One Direction bandmate, Niall Horan, in concert before his death.

On October 2, Payne attended one of Horan’s performances in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Before arriving, Payne said in a video on his Instagram Stories that he and Horan, 31, had things to “fix.”

“We are going to Argentina,” he said. “One, because we want to. Two, because we want to. And three, because Niall Horan is playing there and I think we could go say hi.”

The late star added: “It’s been a while since Niall and I spoke. We have a lot to talk about and I would like to fix a couple of things with the boy. There are no bad vibes or anything like that, we just need to talk.”

Payne was filmed at his former bandmate’s concert at the Movistar Arena.

Two weeks later, Payne died at age 31 after falling from a balcony of his hotel in Buenos Aires.

According to witnesses, Payne had been acting erratically in the hotel lobby during the day. They claim he broke his laptop and they had to carry him back to his room.

TMZ published a photo of what appears to be Payne’s arm. The outlet decided not to publish the image in its entirety because it supposedly shows the singer’s body on a wooden terrace with tables and chairs nearby.

Payne rose to fame as a member of One Direction alongside Horan, Harry Styles, Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson. The group formed on “The X-Factor” in 2010, but broke up in 2016 after Malik, 31, quit.
