The United States Central Command (CENTCOM) confirmed this Sunday the destruction of more than 80 suicide drones and six ballistic missiles launched on Saturday from Iran and from positions of the Yemeni Houthi rebels against Israel.
“On April 13 and the morning of April 14, CENTCOM forces, supported by US European Command destroyers, successfully attacked and destroyed more than 80 one-way attack unmanned aerial vehicles and at least six missiles. missiles that were heading to Israel from Iran and Yemen,” CENCTOM has highlighted on its account on the social network X, formerly Twitter.
In addition, it has reported that one of the missiles and seven of the neutralized drones came from Yemeni territory, where the Houthis, supported by Iran, continue their actions both through the launch of air attacks against Israeli territory and against ships that they consider related to Israel, the United States or the United Kingdom in the Red Sea.
“Iran's continued unprecedented, malignant and reckless behavior endangers regional stability and the security of US and coalition forces,” CENTCOM said, reaffirming the US position to support Israel's defense against these dangerous actions.”
